James M. Donovan, Group Chief Executive Officer
James M. Donovan is the co-founder of ADEC Solutions, FirstCarbon Solutions' parent company. From a start-up company in 1998, he grew ADEC into a 5,000-strong global enterprise that specializes in business process outsourcing. Previously, he worked for 25 years as an investment banker at firms that included Daiwa American Securities and Lehman Brothers Investment Bank. Participating in the birth of the Asian capital markets gave Jim a unique perspective on international finance, equity debt and corporate restructuring. Jim started American Data Exchange in 2006, A-Plus International School in 2008, FirstCarbon Solutions in 2008 and Pharma KPO in 2011.
Carol S. Esguerra, Chief Financial Officer
Carol S. Esguerra is the co-founder of FirstCarbon Solutions, A-Plus International School and its parent company, ADEC Solutions, where she heads finance and operations. In addition to executing business-process-sourcing projects for Fortune 300 clients, Carol also negotiates high-level partnerships and acquisitions. She leads a large, 24x7 operation that handles environmental data processing, accounting, finance and human resources. Before launching ADEC, she held an investment-banking role at Pacific Asia Capital Corporation.
Shawn McGowan, Chief Administrative Officer, Global Services for FirstCarbon Solutions and the ADEC Group
Shawn McGowan is a housing and real-estate expert, specializing in appraisals, valuations and related consultative services for nearly 30 years. Prior positions include CEO of Valocity and chief strategic officer for First American Appraisal Services. His deep insights into complex issues surrounding housing, finance, regulatory oversight and second mortgages qualify him to address the emerging green-real-estate market. For the past six years, Shawn has served on the board of trustees for The Appraisal Foundation.
Justin Holt, Regional Director, Australia
Justin Holt, Regional Director of ADEC Group, previously held a position as ADEC’s general manager in Australia, has been in the data imaging and outsourcing business for 12 years. He specializes in selling and implementing business outsourcing projects involving business process mapping, sustainability management, data imaging, data capture, network and data integration. Prior to joining the corporate ranks, Justin had a most unusual career as a designer and integrator for public-aquarium exhibits.
Michele B. Hincks, Chief Marketing Officer, FirstCarbon Solutions and ADEC Solutions
Michele B. Hincks brings over 20 years marketing experience to the role of Chief Marketing Officer, ADEC Group. With a proven track record helping companies grow revenue, Michele leads the collective, global marketing efforts for the ADEC Group of companies. Michele brings extensive experience in many industries and areas including consumer marketing, enterprise software, and software as a service and has served in a variety of executive and marketing positions at AT&T, Lucent, ChemConnect, Enviance, and NTN Buzztime.
Michele holds a B.A. in Computer Science, graduating Cum Laude with a certification in Science Management from Rutgers University, and an M. B. A. in Marketing from Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
